It’s never boring here in Prags! Winter in the Dolomites is almost more tempting than summer. The beauty of the snow draws people outside and there are all kinds of exciting activities that can only be done in the cold!

Hikes through the frosty white forests and past the rustic farmsteads of the Gsies valley, through the snowy Prags or the magical"Höhlensteintal" valley are a gentle, warming sporting activity that offer the added bonus of magnificent views.

The two museums on the Kronplatz, Messner Mountain Museum MMM Corones and Lumen, are also open in winter. One is dedicated to mountaineering and its history, the other to professional mountain photography. From both buildings you can catch wonderful views and gain amazing insights into the South Tyrolean landscape.
